M$ should work with Wine community to get silverlight works under wine just like picasa/google earth linux by google. But i think M$ may not contribute back the result to the community like google had done:/
Windows or M$ is creating its own STANDARD which makes our(support/developer) life easier, as we are only dealing with several versions of windows (and even we can blame M$ for the fault, XD)
Recently, our company is trying to port a windows app to linux. If we want to ensure it works, we have to test it in all linux distros, and our support team may be in trouble if the user have one or two outdated libraries installed in his linux.
There must be some tools/utilities used by olympic official for their internal works. Are they using Windows?
I wonder there are apps developed for olympic 2008 to use under Vista. If the tools to be used are initially developed for xp, it cannot be assured to be 100% running properly in Vista.
And, yeah, maybe Olympic 2008 by EA to be released next year can work perfectly in Vista!
In my point of view, with its gadget support, it's somehow more convenient for users to use.
