    Unless things have changed recently, glibc will support only the 486 and newer processors.

    But yes, realistically they should shoot for the 586 or 686, because nobody's going to run a modern distro on such ancient hardware; I'd be surprised if anyone tried it on something as old as a Pentium-MMX.

    For the men who care for such things. I wear mine because I've had an analog watch since I was in my teens (32 now as well) & I'm just used to having it there to check the time. I don't care how it looks as long as it's not ugly or ostentatious.

    Dear god. I work in higher ed and get a few spams a day from our bulk-emailer. Stuff about Spanish club, or gospel sings, or weight watchers. Stuff I don't give a shit about, and all I can do is click "junk" until Thunderbird gets it or set up a filter.

    There's even a common joke about how nobody reads stuff on that list, but besides limiting who can send the stuff, the only (dumb) idea was to stick messages in our web portal instead, because obviously everyone checks the portal for important messages instead of just leaving their email client open.

    We know the cars are safe because

    1) the government enforces minimum standards, and
    2) the government will also test for safety.

    Third parties will do testing as well, but you can't blithely assume that the Free Market (pbuh) will produce safe goods.
