Many of the other Linux flavors are just as simple... I consider myself a Linux noob yet I've smoothly installed OpenSuSe, Fedora Core, and Ubuntu. OpenSuSe was so easy that I even had my little brother convert to it.
As a matter of fact, I'm still using my OpenSuSe install... no one wants random Windows crashes during a CS lecture or compiling your exam programs right? I also use IPCop on an old 486 as my router, replacing a Dlink that had to re restarted every 10 minutes. 5 months up with no restarts. A user can definitely be happy with that, even if the install wasn't smooth ^.^
I'll agree with this, though I'll have to add in a caveat...
Sometimes, I hear game VAs and recognize their unique voice. Like the guy who voiced Megabyte from ReBoot or the VA for Tassadar from StarCraft. Not saying I know them by name, but their voices stand out as significant because they performed their roles well. Maybe it's just me, but if you listen you can pick up a bunch more of them. And I love arguing over it with friends. Makes for great conversation if they can pick up on them.
You should look around at stuff in the ITX form factor. They're hella small and insanely quiet. They mostly come with processors of the VIA flavor, in speeds of about 1GHz. However, if you really need something that small, you most likely don't need super awesome hardware.
Pricing isn't bad either. I've seen fully-built systems for around $300-$350. IMO, you can't find a better option for the flexibility offered.
I actually quite liked the FF movie... the cinematics were beautiful, and the story was to my liking. The first RE was fairly good as well. The second wasn't horrible, yet at the same time wasn't spectacular... though truthfully the third movie never should have been made.
