I seems to me that this is way, way too early to call this a confirmation of a planet. Other possibilities are: Sunspots - Solar Prominence - "Brown Dwarf" Star The "Wobble" method of Planet discovery is not yet a proven method. These planets are not "discovered"; just inferred.
Besides, it seems too wacky to have large planets that close to a star without being destroyed by tidal force.
