A lot of their claims are laughable -- suggest they really have not done any competitive research.
Have a look at picoChip: they sampled a chip in 2002 with 400 processors programmed in C and a very similar any:any mesh.
So how they can claim they claim "But Tilera is the first company to offer a product that uses the new [mesh] architecture" or "existing multicore technologies simply cannot scale beyond a handful of cores"
There are plenty of others who have tried and failed, of course, but picoChip do seem to be for real & shipping stuff.
There is nothing new under the sun, and marketing spin is called "vaporware" for good reason
