- first remember that managing is not coding
- I STRONGLY recommend reading "Behind Closed Doors - Secrets of Grest Management"; longer than 2 hours but easy VERY practical reading
- the Perl motto applies - there is more than one way to do it. You need to adapt ALL management practices to what works for you and your team
