Technically, in HL2, what are considered levels are not -- they are called chapters, because a game such as that plays out like a novel (or interactive movie, in this case). It also gives the player a feeling of accomplishment in moving on between chapters. But it's an interesting discussion.:)
Since DX10 is specifically tied to Vista, we have not come far at all. LOL Though Valve has stated they have a way of accessing features of DX10 hardware using DX9 api.:)
Interesting. But I would like to know why "bad" language persists. LOL I mean, why is it that certain words are passed down for generations as being foul language? If everyone stopped caring and teaching that certain words are "bad," then it would be one less thing to smack kids about, right?? (hehe)

ummmm.... Even if it cures cancer, I'll stick with WMRecorder (and Replay Media Catcher) than EVER use RealPlayer again. LOL
