John Paul II was an idiot. He wanted to make Mary part of the Trinity... as in TRInity... as in a mutual indwelling of THREE persons (God the father, God the Son incarnate, Holy Spirit).
How would that even work?
I wonder why the EU hasn't interfered intervened with this yet? Ireland joined in 1973. I bet the new European Constitution (that every member state has rejected) will put a stop to it.
