not that I thnk you're in the wrong. I'm a firm beleiver in the IP laws all over the world being massively biased to the publisher side. I beleive that copyright and patents should last about 5 years each.
THe point I'd rather make however is that I don;t see it as a school's primary responsibility to teach kids what is right and what is wrong. thats is the parents duty primarily. the schools should be educating the kids so that they can make their own mind up as to what laws are morally correct and which ones are not.
The Neuremberg war trials taught us that just because we have been ordered to do something, or it is the law, does not make it right. we have to make our own decisions as to what is right and what is wrong and stand by them. when I have children I want to be responsible for their morals and their sense of right and wrong, rather than an underfunded school that seems to be increasingly likely to be teaching corporate viewpoints.

I aid cold hard cash for the bat for home use and I think it's brilliant. it's a cracking mail client and I only wish there was a native version for freebsd. I suppose I could kick up wine or something but it seems a hell of a lot of hassle.
we all know the demoscene belonged to the amiga:) the 4k and 64k demos were so damn impressive. sometimes I wnna plug ym 1200 (I sold the 500) in again and play... but then I think.. naahh

ie the lead ball was shotgun shot and has been shot into a pidgeon and the feather in question was attached to that pidgeon then the feather would hit the gournd first providing that the lead shot remains in the bird. this works for the case that the feather was on the part of the bird that touches the ground
the obvious answer seems to be the lead ball but it depends on the conditions. the feather would fall slower due to air resistance overcoming it's weight and so it's terminal velocity would be slower than that of the lead ball wihch is nice and streamlined.
are they dropping through an atmosphere or a vacuum, if the latter both would hit at the same time.
of course if the lead ball was shot and the feather was attached to a pidgeon then the feather would hit first:)
they initially paid $10 each for the room, or $30 in total. the woman came and gave them back a dollar each so that the new figures are that they paid $9 each or $27 on total. however of that $27 dollars, the room cost $25 and she kept $2. you're adding instead of subtracting.
all I can say is that I hope they good decent room service:)
yep, you are missing something, thats communication and no communication is allowed. afaics they discuss strategy beforehand, they go into their separate chaning rooms where a randomly coloured hat gets placed on their head. they walk out, look at each other and then answer at the same time, the answer being red, blue or pass.
this waiting and then answering depending on what you see stuff is still communication as far as I am concerned:)

and that was a link to the US trademark people. this case is in germany and therefore is not subject to american laws, but their own.
(although one might also think that yahoo would not be subject to french laws, or norwegian teens not subjetc to american laws...)
