I'd honestly try to reason more with this guy, rather than just take him right to court, because of the implications of a loss to Carmack and the rest of the community.
..obviously another attempt by organizations who are "protecting the industry". I like mp3.com, because the music you get from there is indy music (mostly), which helps new artists who want to sell cds. They are attacking themselves and artists that will eventually be "protected" by them.
They won't ever learn, until they start to lose court case after court case.
Hey, ATi produces great graphics cards. The software, etc for them just aren't up to standard.
I mean, the performance on all ATi Rage cards would be WAY better if they focused on producing excellent drivers for their excellent cards.
Or, if their new chip actually does 2 gigapixels, they wouldn't have to make useless stuffs like the MAXX, which doesn't even match up to the GeForce 256.
