  6. Most users don't know a thing about the workings of their computer. If you are worried about encryption, as others said above, your system drive will be encrypted, and then you won't have to worry about this.

  15. But can you direct the Post Office to deliver them to an office down the street who's job is to simply drop them into the physical analog of /dev/null? Wouldn't that be just fine? The post office delivers them, the receiver just deletes them. Or in this case, it's UPS doing the delivery, so no postal regulations apply.

    Technically, UPS and FedEx are not allowed to deliver personal letters. Only the US Postal Service, or companies contracted by them, have the authority to deliver personal letters in the United States.

    "Didn't hang back"??? They got their asses handed to them in WW2. Without even a token resistance before Germany controlled the country. Stop pretending Europe actually stood up to Germany before a lot of Americans got involved. And, sure, that was after we were attacked. But your war wasn't our war. For all the bitching about the US starting wars, it's strange how the same people also bitch about us not invading Europe sooner, while concurrently claiming our help wasn't needed at all.

    Actually, they have do idea if it is the first extra-solar visitor or not. It is simply the first one they have noticed, and that was only because of its peculiar orbit. There could be a hundred others that either orbited with the planets, or that crashed into a planet or the sun. We'll never know.

    There have been a few cases of female news reporters being shot on camera by their abusive husbands/boyfriends/ex-either. There was no doubt at all who did the killing, but there was only one camera. I would say that should be enough to meet your standard, rather than multiple cameras from ATM or security systems.
