Yep; the creation of the Great Firewall of the United States. This one is primarily for the protection of some corporate interests rather than of one political party.

What the fuck is wrong with England? I mean, Orwell *showed* them in "1984" how bad it could be, but they keep moving towards it. It's very strange. What is it? It's a little known fact about the downfall of the former Soviet Union, and the consequent emigration of many of its former citizens to the UK. We all know about the millionaire criminals (sorry, millionaire entrepreneurs) who came over to push up London's property prices and buy football clubs for their relaxation. What is less known is that much of the KGB and the government apparatus also emigrated en masse. They now run MI5 and MI6, most of the police, and have taken over much of the civil service, and the upper echelons of the Labour Party.

All these drivers, even here on Slashdot, admit to breaking while driving! They should get more reliable cars. No wonder the roads are jammed with all these breaks. I'll admit to braking sometimes to look at breakdowns.

Another personal attack, in support of the previous one! No understanding that entering into an argument by insulting the other party is a good way of not making a case. The insults also show that the insulter's mind is already closed. The insult becomes the argument, and the next stage in the real world would be a fist fight.

That should have been Iran Air Flight 655. The extra zero was a typo, I copy pasted and intended to place the link in brackets.

Last time I checked, Israel had invaded neighbouring countries several times - 1956 (Egypt), 1966 (Egypt, Syria, Jordan), 1978, 0982 and 2006 (Lebanon). Iran has invaded no one, not in the ayatollah's period, and not for decades or perhaps even centuries before that. It has however been invaded by Iraq (1980), with the aggressive support of the US, one feature of which was an unprovoked shooting down of a civilian airliner over open sea by the US Navy (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Air_Flight_6550. Who're you talking to? Me, who believes that Windows is a monopoly, and is agnostic about the likelihood of a Linux takeover? The chancellor should be responsible if he created a situation in which such breaches of rules were likely. For instance, by ensuring that only junior staff were available to do critical work. For comparison, in my last job, we were expected to ensure lots of new safety steps were taken each year, while each year also funds were cut back. But if we pointed out that this was impossible, it was made clear that we'd have to 'manage and prioritise'. If something went wrong it was supposed to be our fault, not of those who were higher up the chain and thus did not get their hands dirty.

"Should" expresses a moral judgement. When collectivists use it they are advocating, in the end, unlimited social violence against those who will not comply. Pol Pot wan't bugfuck crazy, he was just consistent. And by the same logic, by denigrating the word 'should' as used by collectivists (whatever they are), you're advocating unlimited social violence against collectivists.
