Add tinyurl-like service to EACH web server (at least to the good ones...)
Each user, external and internal will be able to add url to this mapping, as long as on the site (with some integrity checking)
It can be used automatically when compiling a page with many pointers to other pages in the site (with queries, etc.)
This will solve the single-point-of-failure problem, and also will keep the URLs more "readable", at least the domain-name part.
