1. Since the very recent past we have had people coming over to computers in huge numbers all looking to use computers because they are the wave of the future, and the internet will hange everything(blah blah) They aren't even learning how to use the machine.
2. All these computers that schools are getting to teach the kids. Most of the schools are teaching the kids how to web browse.. yeah real good skill to teach highschool kids. and the schools that do real teaching are few and far between.
3. in Politics everyone has has to protect the children because parents can't do it. How did everyone survive before others government showed us the correct way to live.
4. Laws are out of date and the Judges hearing these cases are well out of touch. normally old men and woman are only even using computers because of my first point. So if the law is 10 years out of date judgements are 5 more years so.
5. People always attempt to put something from the real world to compair things like the internet.(ie the information SUPER Highway) but there are things that can not and should not be compared to the real world.
yeah we are heading in a good direction because none of the points I bring up will probably be changed anytime soon.
That's a very good point. Normally I just bring up the point that this information will be sold like everything else. Don't forget that the states were selling DL pictures to companies.
ok the government should have a DNA database
I propose that we all have to give the government a sample of our pewp everyday that way they could prove we are there by checking the bathroons too. Its all about finding the "guy who did it and protect the little man"

You can't be everything to everybody and even if you could there are still people that would say you are doing it wrong.
Many people who used Linux (though they would not admit to it) started using it not because it was superior software but rather because it was away from the main stream computer users thus because Redhat is becoming mainstream Redhat is going to get all the criticism Microsoft used to get. It's a case of the "I'm a leeter geek then you"
Fix the problems in your software, follow your own line of goals and be happy that you've gained the acceptance that people now hate you.
Of course RedHat isn't the only distro but the point is that they are the only known distro by the mass public.
when newbies think of Linux they look at redhat. sure that is wrong but that is how it is. Alodda people when they see redhat not supporting sparc will say ok linux doesn't support the sparc so I'll stick with (some other crap) they won't "make thiere own" or goto debian
