I doubt that the developers would ever use anything other than Sony hardware. Especially as Sony always tries to get the best graphics processing game consol. I would think that the only time they would ever use another manufacturer would be if Sony did not produce a consol that matched or exceeded processing power of other consoles of the same generation. To get ratchet and clank: tools of destruction into wii format the developers would have to drastically downgrade the graphics and make major changes to the game play to make it useable with the wii controllers
