Hmm, I don't seem to have these problems on my OSX Mac or my Windoze PC. I guess the ancient tty keyboard driver incompatibilities and no spell checker are more common to *nix. Printer works fine but the keyboard is hosed. Who needs a keyboard anyway?
Exactly why *nix has taken so long to get where it is and why the continued growth, significant advancement and adoption remains painfully slow.
