I'm waiting for the Star Trek case where the warp engines hold speakers and the the main saucer swivels to expose a monitor. Now that would be something cool.
I have a 100+ page manual for Solaris that I have been working on for a couple months now. It is highly detailed and explains to even the lamest user how to configure, setup and install all the necessary open-source software on a Sun box running Solaris 2.6. It isn't GNOME but would anyone be interested in a very well written book on Solaris? I basically wrote it to assist later SysAdmins. When I arrived here at this job there was no documentation. It's designed for neophytes and has already proven quite useful. I'd take a couple hundred dollars and make it available for anyone.
