Couldn't the white house just as easily fabricated a few twitter stories that would correlate with that fabricated agenda? It wouldn't even need to be a very good story - just good enough to cause confusion as to where Obama actually was.
Why isn't there any technical details about how this hack happened? For something that happened almost 2 years ago it seems there's surprisingly little information on what actually happened.
It seems this article is more concerned with blaming China for attacking America than it is giving details on what actually happened.
