We had kinda the same prob in Sweden as a musician tried to have the name "Absolut" on his latest cd.. And some company claimed to own the name Absolut and i dunno what happend later on but that s not the point.. The point is that this is getting WAY out of hand. Someone should try and rethink the patent system. It doesnt work as it should.
The games isnt the real problem.. The real problem is that the parents of the kids that ends up shooting up schools are feeding them with knowledge of weapons at an early age.. And the fact that in the states its pretty easy to buy and own a gun. Video games are played all over the world but the shootings are allmost only in the states. So instead of these guys blaming the video game industry they could look at the real problem and change the weapon policy in the states..
This could only happen in the states.. in Sweden this stuff wouldnt be allowed.. It seems like the guys that makes these descicions have problems with finding the real problem and makes these weird things up just to look like they are acctualy doing something. And one question.. Could you just refuse to sign the paper`? If not what would happen then?
During the trials against em they should have the smell of blood sweet and tears..
