These sites aren't made by professionals. Even if the coders are good, the management isnt.

No time to poke around and see if my changes might break something else. No staging server. No debugging. Direct modifications to the live servers.
That works fine if you are working on the site for a Quake clan, but for a high traffic, "professional" site with millions of users? Obviously not.

Also here the bad economic situation of the inner cities is drastically contrasted by the situation in Bel Air. Combine this with movies, TV and music that glorify the life of a thug gangsta and a persons natural resistance to crime can be worn down over the span of only 10s of years.

Darksunonline.org is asking for donations and getting quite a few of them. Why? Because the product is actually pretty good. It's no wonder that all these joke sites that post little more than the latest AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs fad lose 100% of thier customers when they try to charge.
