    This is why I'm interested in checking the license details of Windows 7 Starter Edition.

    Designed to run on a netbook? Less bloat? Reduced cost to the consumer? Win-win.

    I use third party media players and don't care about Aero Glass. If it supports DX10, we have a new Windows gaming platform.

    I've seen your comments on here quite a lot, and you seem to be consistently modded insightful for good reason.

    You should start a political party, should you feel so inclined, with a view to lobby your local governing bodies for exactly this sort of service.

    I'd donate, and I'm not even American. It just so happens that the UK seems to follow you everywhere, so maybe we'll see some fallout over the pond.

    How about typing on the back of every cheque which you send the phrase "By accepting this payment (cashing this cheque) you agree to the amendments and changes to your Terms of Service, as stated at [URL]. Note that these changes and amendments may change at any time, and it is within these amendments and changes that I need not inform you of any such changes."

    My Windows 7 RC installation is reported as IE 7 on Windows XP SP2, because half of the video streaming sites I use (legitimate, obviously) break with "AMAGAD UR OS IZ NOT ZUPPRORTREAD." messages, which are absolute rubbish as I am able to watch them in Firefox on Windows 7 as long as I alter the user agent string.

    Same processor, but DDRII here and 8800GTX.

    That rig will run a 24" 1920x1200 monitor with all settings up as well. Mine does.

    You might want to upgrade that screen.

    You cam injure burglars. On that same page, there's a story of a man who stabbed two intruders, one to death, and was released without charge. He was deamed to have acted in self defence, as he had reasonable suspicion that the two entered the house with the intent to commit an act of burglary (it is an act of burglary to enter a property to commit a theft, an act of criminal damage, an assault, or a rape. There are other situations which qualify, too. IAALawStudent). Unfortunately, no case is cited.

    Not in the UK.

    Taking on the FCC, he'd probably need it.

    Disclaimer: I'm not from the US, I'm English, so I wouldn't directly benefit from this course of action. I just agree with the work the guy does, and hope he continues.
