You don't understand economics....
If we put more crude oil into the world market that will lower the prices. Lower oil prices ~= lower gas prices. It is simple free market economics.
Electronic Brake Override, Black boxes, CAFE Standards...
What else is next? I'm glad I just bought a new vehicle this fall and plan on driving it for a long time. With all these new innovations/requirements in the name of safety and saving the planet from a made-up science, vehicle prices are just going to continue to increase like crazy. Not the mention how much it costs to fill up the damn things. But let's not do anything practical to actually reduce gas prices (drill) because it will take 10 years to come online so we just give up before we start. (Where would gas prices be today if we started doing some of these things 10 years AGO?)
I keep an non-essential keys in my car's center console. Then just have my car key. Park the car in the garage (use the garage door opener) and have an alarm on your house. 1 Key is all I ever carry.
Or get a car with prox capability and push button start and you never need to carry keys.
So I was at a local gas station the other day and I heard the three ladies behind the counter whining about how our country was in shambles and how *you know who* ruined our economy and there aren't anymore jobs anymore. The dumbest of them all had the best quote, "There are no jobs anymore. If you ain't got one of them higher educations and like 7 years of experience you can't get a job." Hence - you're working at your local gas station at age 30. Just my 2 cents.:)
don't we have much bigger things to worry about? This isn't a common case....well, it might be if things continue the way they are going.

I'm pretty sure FB is loving this because they have got to be strapped for cash without any real business plan.
