We, the people, are the biz and the consumer. At some point we/you/they may need this solution.
The OS solution would include a well known method that is indestructible even if you know how it works.
DRM implies managing it, which could include copy-protection, watermarks and possibly a watchdog tool that scrapes the net for illegal copies.
btw: I know how to do it but it takes a lot of CPU;-)
