I Google had enough cash on hand to do so, market capital is not how much money a company has to just go out buying anything it wants. Sprint has 51 billion in assets and Google 21 billion. Sprint has a market cap just north of 25 billion. So Figure in 20% For an aggressive buyout and you hit 30 billion. Google would have to go into MASSIVE DEBT to buy Sprint.

But hey I got some stock in a hot new Pharmaceutical Company that is in stage 2 testing for a cancer cure. I can hook you up with shares for 5$ each. It will be worth 10 times that this time next year!
