Not to sound like a sissy, but can we shut this thing off and not mess with it? I've played enough Half Life and Doom, seen enough movies, and read enough sci-fi to know that we really shouldn't mess with crazy particle accelerator devices. Seriously, some of the elite physicists in the world are saying that the particles are communicating through time to ensure we don't do what this thing was designed to do?
Is this REALLY a good idea?
