Not true, us "*BSD Users" use it because no one does, and we want it to stay that way, we just like to occasionally stick our tongue's out for harmless amusement
i am one of the few lucky ones to have BPL, i purposely moved into the testing region, and its amazing.
but one thing i noticed leading up to the install day is that they where having fiber run to my apartment, soooo apparently the power company is not using the power lines to transfer the data around town, and i think thats exactly why they are so slow in their expansion, they just don't want to spend the money to run a new set of fiber around the city
