  1. I got to agree with his boss on How To Convince My Boss Not To Spam? · · Score: 1

We are not talking about sending v1agr@ ads to random addresses, it's legitimate, well targeted advertisement to people that are likely to need the products that they are selling.

Just do it as you would start any selling, send them each an individual email telling them of your offerings and be sure to have a working email address as sender (sales@yourcompany.com). If you really are serious about making the sales, have an intern look up the phone number of the people you are writing to and call them afterwards.

If the competitor didn't want to lose his clients, he shouldn't be stupid enough to spread their contact information around.

No you're not. I was expecting some sort drug-seller type of deal where the first year is free so you have enough time to get locked into all ms products...

In fact I do. I don't even own a car. Just took the bus to work this morning.

That's exactly the reason you should drive. The rest of us can just use public transportation or ride a bike or walk. Got to think about the environment.

Maybe you should ask Michael Moore. No thanks. I don't like speaking to anyone who uses half-truths and embellishment to make sensationalistic points. Oh, but he does it so well :)

That would be like insurance companies wanting auto insurance to be mandatory.

We actually have this in Finland, you have to have auto insurance to be allowed to drive. This is insurance that will cover the costs to the other guy if you crash into them, but still.

Or hospitals being in favor of mandatory medical insurance.

We have this thing too, I think it's called universal health care. Maybe you should ask Michael Moore.

  7. If you can't take it... on US Set to Use Spy Satellites on US Citizens · · Score: 1

I don't really care and here's why: the us government has its spy satellites all over the world. If you think it's your country's right to spy on foreigners, why shouldn't you have to taste your own medicine.
