One of the greatest things about the freedom of speech is that you can say whatever you want, and conversely you can read or not read whatever you want. If you do not like reading articles from Jon Katz then just don't read them. It is not that hard to just not click on that little link. I realize that most of you that flame him because you don't like him are probably at best still in high school. You know what, you really don't know everything despite what you belive. There is a whole world out there full of intolrance and hatred for no good reason. Please keep Slashdot free from these social plagues. If you don't like something don't read it, don't comment on it or just plain ignore it. You do not have the right to tell me what I should be reading and what I should not be. I think that Rob did a good thing deciding to let Mt. Katz join the site. He brings an outside view and opinion to the forum. There is more to life than just code and he tries to show us that, to open our eyes just a little bit more. I thank him for that. I thank Rob for letting him have the opportunity. I also thank all of you for letting this social experiment take place and to thrive. So please keep the discussions civil, your opinion is valid as long as you are trying to make a point. If you are incapable of doing that then get a life and stay away from here, I for one would not miss you.
If you think that you could do a better job running a site like Slashdot then create your own. I bet that you couldn't even come close.
