Here is the contents of my 1.0 megabyte winsfx.exe file. I used it to run windows on a 386sx-16 with 4MB of ram with no harddrive. I used over two megs for a ramdisk. Still had plenty left. Youll note this includes Winsock,Telnet client,FTP client,POP mail client, IRC client, Program manager, Sound blaster support, Notepad, Tetris, MasterMind, Clock, Several fonts, and a highspeed com driver. This is a piece work of windows 3.0,3.1,3.11 :-)

But you forget that evolution is two sided. The weak die (or did) AND the strong conquer. Today strengh is measured in intelligence and the ability to use it for your advancement. Once a person or small group get enough power, they will use it to destroy everyone else (who could possibly hurt them). It IS the logical thing to do.

Be careful when mixing 'the law' and 'morality'. There are thousands of cases when breaking the law is the only moral action allowed. For example, you or your passenger are injured, and you speed to the hospital. And further, if i download music from the internet, im not taking anything. There is no less after, than before i listened to it. The same with code, if i download some code, and study its example, and use it for my own purposes, that in no way leaves the software any different. Human property made some of us slaves, intellectual property will make us all slaves. Nobody owns ideas.

Actually its very easy to prove Intellectual Property is immoral. Suppose You invented a cure for cancer. You decide you can make the most money by selling only 1000 doses to the highest bidders. Though perfectaly cabable of making enough for cheap treatment of everyone. You're arguing that you have the right to refuse to distribute to those poor sick people. You don't have that right. You are obligated morally to help everyone. THEY ARE morally obligated to reimburse you what they can. Now however, if you could NOT supply a cure for everyone , you wouldnt be responsible for the rest. BUT ALL Intellectual Property can be infinitly copied.
