I know some people actually like iTunes but I really have problems wrapping my brain around it. One thing they tend to have in common is limited experience with good media players like Winamp and Amarok. Even Windows Media Player stomps all over iTunes in terms of usability.
It's really a matter of taste (or lack thereof). The one time I tried Windows Media Player it confused the hell out of me and I went back to iTunes. iTunes may not have all the advanced features, but to me the interface is more intuitive. All I want to do is play my music.
It may be number one, but it'll never appear on the pro-gaming circuit, though that would be hilarious. I can see the headlines now: "Professional Pee Player Arrested for Doping":P
This hardly qualifies as "stuff that matters". If I cared about this sort of thing I'd be reading a gaming site. Less news for nerds, more stuff that matters please.
If you release some new piece of technology and it's successful, hell, if it just gets good press coverage, then you will be sued by another company that built the same thing you did... but five years ago. On a related note, I have $5 that says someone sues over the LHC before the year ends.
I predict that the LHC won't be fired up for real until 2012.
If I was a Chinese admiral, I'd be looking into ways to harness whales to tow my subs towards the American coast right about now.
That doesn't mean it can't happen again.
He is now.

Considering the number of iPhones that have been sold, selling OVER NIIIINE THOUSAND copies of an app shouldn't be that hard.
If you pay EA $200 and buy all the expansions, Spore will finally work like it was meant to. Hurray!
So does anyone at Sony actually know how to spell?
It will cost you your soul. Just sign on the dotted line for unlimited bandwidth and no more throttling!
Exactly. ISPs are friendly to P2P traffic like alligators are friendly to chickens.

Despite all the hate, Apple is making a ton of money. I'd love to have a slice of that pie.
IF they even did anything to begin with.

If they're not big enough to ride, then they're not giant worms.
Finally! A computer that can run Crysis with full graphics!
Fusion pow'r is the
only goal on that list that is
worthwhile. Like a pie.
Too bad it is too
far-fetch'd. Solar power has
a much better chance.
