    I agree... the wireless brodband service is not a replacement. I used the Verizon wireless broadband card for a year or so. I did so in conjunction with my cable internet connection. I found that when in the office i needed a higher, more reliable speed and i only did light work when out of the office (email and browsing, etc.) At the time i paid roughly $80 for the verizon wireless broadband service... i think they recently dropped it to $59.

    I cancelled my service about 3 months ago. I currently use PDANet through my cell phone to connect to the internet. The PDANet software connects me to the internet through my cell phone and only cost about $20 more for an unlimited data service for my phone. I just connect the phone using the sync cable i got with the phone and connect. Super slick and works great for what i need to do out of the office.
