I think you may have misunderstood me. All I was saying was that the mere threat of violence is a violent act, even though it causes no physical harm. I do not oppose violence, especially not if it is used in self defence. If the cops start blasting at you, blast back!
Many consider the threat of violence as just another form of violence. Or so I've heard.
