Squeak it's an Object ambient, not a programming lenguage alone. That's mean every thing you see is an object (the compiler, the classes, the windows, the number 3, the message "+" send to the object 5, etc. etc.). I think the idea is to create an OS from Squeak, and opencroquet being the shell.
The language itself is used to do things like open files, if you want.
You can program in assembler, if you can. But you must think in Assembler.
