At a seminar I attended recently, a rep from a Japanese flash manufacturer was all giddy at the prospects (and official rumor) that M$ was going
to do for the flash drive what was done for the winmodem, ie extract the intelligence out of the peripheral and make the OS do it. M$ doing the
wear leveling algorithm, what a comforting thought. And I'm sure it will be accomplished in a way that make dual boot even easier.
