    If you want liability, you should expect to pay more money. A lot of the users don't need that kind of liability, only few users need that. Those need reliable software, as like NASA, should expect to pay more money, and those not could enjoy cheaper software. So, anyway, what's so wrong with the current practice?

    Oops! ;) I have some rough mem that when last time I encounter the word COM in a play with OSKit which uses COM, I happened to read that there are some kinda sorta priviledge by MS over third parties in some namespace issues. (I read that line in somewhen around Nov. '99) Since it's big, oops, huge indeed. I have never checked back then. And I nearly read every elsewhere that says CORBA has lota advantages technically over COM when comes into the Internet-wide applications. Just rant. ;)

    Too early to say frankly. :) But it also gives out a chance to blow off Qt/QPL from the whole thing w/o losing too much in a sudden. IMHO. ;) Just too early to say..
