  1. Re:PS2 IS CRAP on PlayStation 2 Software Synopsis · · Score: 1

If that was all you liked then there`s probably not much point in you getting one.
To be honest i didnt like any of the games that came out for the SNES or Genesis, so i just stuck with the Amiga. Then again, the same games come out for all platforms now (with the exception of some of the more tedious pc games, and only slightly less tedious N64 ones), so it seems to matter less and less which one you get. Sounds like you should wait for the next Nintendo console, though you may want a PS2 just to tide you over until its finally released.

Why do you care about shortages? I certainly dont. Let the chumps and geeks pay full whack for it now; I want a ps2 but i doubt i`ll get one before next summer/xmas. By then the price will have been reduced by at least 20%, there`ll be new versions of some of the internal software, loads of good games etc.

You could always use BigFoot or some other redirector, but bigfoot is being a bit crap at the moment with delays, perhaps everyone is doing this! Still, with an emailable phone, you can avoid the 10p per SMS charge that is so popular here (UK) by just emailing from Rocketmail.

This is the most common mistake that i see, again and again, whenever some new law that may/will remove rights is mooted. There is NO evidence that this is the case. People do NOT worry about losing their rights if they can be convinced it will keep them safe from drugs/criminals/dangerous dogs/asylum seekers/new-age travellers/paedophiles/insert perceived-threat-of-the-moment.

There is no conspiracy. If people didnt want this to happen, it just wouldn`t happen, its a simple as that. Another political party would say `vote for us and it wont happen`, and, if it were considered an important enough issue, people would vote for them instead.

The fact that no parties have stood up and say as much in this case reflects the fact that there are no votes in it.
