All the songs are full length - I've bought a few right off the site - bands I'd never heard of (or would have otherwise). It seems napster, et al, helps smaller bands and hurts(?) larger ones.
SGI Octane MXI Jaleo RT Uncompressed Digital Beta, etc. Many linux editing solutions have been rumored, none have materialized to my knowledge. Sub-unix stability will not work. That goes for Macs running Avid as well. I work with a few, and they are prone to vague troubles, difficult to run down. Don't get me started on editing with windoze. RT-2000 card crashed on me every 10 minutes after several techs assured me that it was configured "properly."
