I'm sorry. Where do we have a right to copy others' work? Although I download a lot of stuff, I don't try to delude myself into thinking what I'm doing is acceptable. If I had spent 2-3 years creating a novel, I certainly don't want somebody taking my labor without pay... it can go into the public domain after I'm dead, but not before.
What makes you think you have a right for your work NOT to be copied? You don't own the ethos.. how can you claim rights to a certain sequence of letters and numbers. I own my harddrive, I paid for the copper wire that comes to my house, and the electricity that created the bits. Seems to me, once I download you're book, I own it. You're not claiming ownership to my computer are you?
Just because you work at something doesn't entitle you to payment.
"or doing it in the name of religion"
religion is essentially organized craziness, so isn't the crazy guy stabbing people in a crowd the same as the religious guy who flies planes into buildings . . . same brain disorder no?
Why not change the exam format then?
I'd be very scared. Meet your replacement!
