i know i know. but i swear the menu said "HTML Text" when i hit "Submit"!
after 15+ years on tcsh, this issue bugged me so much that i ended up with this solution: <a href="http://www.fictive.com/t/tdb/shell/loop/">ht tp://www.fictive.com/t/tdb/shell/loop/</a> (i would have posted it here, but the aliases employ a few iso8859-1 characters which didn't make it through /.'s form. sorry about that).
