It might be a better start to, in the open source space, patch security holes as a theme for a new era of computing. Starting to force programming to change so rapidly is one avenue, yet presenting the information alone addresses the issues of software and computing bugs.

This guy has a real honest opinion, at least from a realistic standpoint of not wanting to put up with bs. I guess if you don't care about things like fixing Vista, which I would think would be more fun; it might drive you to learn linux servers better then the next guy!

Everyone, truly deep down inside loves Microsoft. They are the best software company in the World, after all. I want a "I Love Microsoft" T-Shirt to wear to the SQL and Defcon Conferences so I can get flogged!
The world needs people who do not want to achieve. For instance at a sales job, I learned the new call center product and sold it, another guy refused to learn it. He will learn it eventually, and the product was new so only a few people needed to take the initiative to learn it.
I actually as a result of these positive reviews of mac have brought me closer to actually purchasing one. I did always hate how macs were more expensive then pc's, but that doesn't seem to be the case today if you consider you are using the computer for 4-5 years.
Bah, I don't like Mac's because they cost too much money. Maybe someday, when I can afford such items that cost $$$ like BMW's, Mac's and Hybrids; I still don't think I will be like you. Some urban class idiot who needs a fancy car and to ride a bike to work to feel some sense of accomplishment for the lack of diversity, the lack of creativity and true accomplishment in the Silicon Valley; the place that sucks your life out of your soul and slowly kills you day by day. (Can you tell I live here too).
Now that Bill has already established his history of destruction and decimation of the software community, now he can state anything he wants, even though it is ridiculous, inane and superfluous with complete disregard for the people of this planet. Bill Gates also pretends to care about people with philanthropy, which his tax analyst does out of malice for content of civilization.
The best part about spam, malware and viruses, exploits and the so called, "criminal activity" of these users, is they present a challenge to protect against them. This creates a competitive environment which benefits society, creating more diverse technology. These activities need to continue, if the world ever becomes so secure we loose are freedom, technologies those employed by storm and others would allow us protection. Likewise, without criminal activity in cyberspace, half of us would loose our jobs.
The Ipod blew up during the star phase of the product cycle. Now it is in the cash cow phase, as it is a considerable profitable enterprise and thus a myriad of firms have capitalized on making similar products.
Ipod's will continue to sell to yuppies who enjoy paying for an overpriced mp3 player with a network of music that lacks diversity to foreign markets. As a US consume I can enjoy not having access to England, Hollands and Germany's fine selections of electronica, which Itunes America lacks almost entirely.
Mac sales have gone up, most likely to the yuppies who cannot sync the Itunes software to a Windows box and decide to buy the Mac due to the customer support representative with Mac stating, "it works better with a Mac," or the idiots logical thought process that decides a Mac is a cost effective option (cough, cough).
Buying a Mac is for the glorified rich who eat too many donuts and watch too much TV. If you enjoy my lovely view of the world, read my blog.
