It took me almost a month of trying 2-3 times a day and a nasty email to the webmaster before I could get registered. I finally got my PIN number by snail mail a few days ago. Unfortunately, their website says my PIN number and password are incorrect so I can't get in. You're really not missing anything except a hard time.
I think the whole election thing is just a sham. They don't want voters taking away their power (even though we're only getting a tidbit). That's why it's been such an ordeal to even get in.
It's true that a standard command line eats almost nothing for CPU cycles. What I'm concerned with is the extra cycles necessary to interpret the command in the form of a sentence. Right now a 'mv' command is simple. The arguments follow the command separated by white space. With natural language, the command a the arguments have to be hunted down, and all the garbage (a, to, with, etc). Wild cards will be even more fun, but I won't even start on that. The biggest thing that concerns me is dialect and general word variation. Hopefully I'm wrong though. If this actually works, it would be a great asset to the end user.
It sounds like a major processor hog. It may not be quite as bad a voice recongnition, but it'll still hurt. I guess it's time to buy a 1+ GHz processor.
That's it exactly. It's not safe with all the blunders that have occured as Mir ages. Oops, the computers are down again. Oops, we ran into our own rocket. Oops.... So, I think we should support this for single reason. Let's all chip in and send up Gates. We know he won't come back. No need to renovate, send him now!

shred -n 35 -z core
Now no one will ever know that my latest program for school dumped a core.
