I'm still running Redhat 6.0 so I can't use the 6.2 RPMs. I tried installing from the "source" tar.gz, but I get the following error when running "install.sh" after "make":
"./NVdriver: kernel-module version mismatch./NVdriver was compiled for kernel version 2.2.5-15 while this kernel is version 2.2.5-15smp.
Error loading kernel driver Check build"
The readme says:
"If you want to build NVdriver for a system other than the compiling system, then you'll need to run the make as:
$ make SYSINCLUDE=/src/kern/my-smp-kernel/include"
so I tried:
"$ make SYSINCLUDE=/usr/src/linux-2.2.5/include"
Still no help. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or are the build scripts just broken? has anyone gotten this to work on 6.0 SMP? Does anyone know of a fast mirror for these drivers?

You can find it under the binaries directory of one of the older releases, like 3.3.6. Don't worry it's just the XFree extraction utility, you don't have to worry about version conflicts.
There's nothing to not be compatible with as there is no software involved. If you're asking if you can run Linux on an Athlon, then the answer is yes. -ctepher
I just had an idea for a very geeky project to determine what state Springfield is in through process of elimination. By watching every episode, and taking note of what states Springfield can't be in. It would be interesting to see if Springfield could actually exist, or if all the states would eventually be eliminated. -ctepher
