well actually when someone makes a mistake or something there are several things that can be said:
ai da / ay da / Ãy da (small mistake -oops) or
chát / chát cha / chát bà / chát má (HUGE mistake, not funny - OOPS/UH OH). These literrally mean (die, die father, die granny, die mother) but the literal meaning has nothing to do with the actual meaning. They are just expressions for situations like this (oops).
