I have a beige G3 233 overclocked to 266 MHz and it runs " in a reasonable way".
I am using IE 5 while listening to mp3s and compiling some *nix programs in the background. That doesn't piss me off at all:-)
Could you please specify in your posts which Linux is meant. I have a Alpha, PPC and m68k boxes so most binary-only ports are useless for me. So next time could you please say "a Linux/x86 binary is released" ?
What a pity that they are running Windows XP. This computer could be the first to see running Vista at an acceptable speed.
I use a combination of PHP and pdflatex for report generation. I don't think there is a solution that gets you more "professional looking" output.
