It's about time that Congress and the administration are both on the same page. This is long overdue ! There will be many innocent people who will not have to suffer from the discrimination by employers and Health insurance companies.
Although it's obvious Bush signed it only due to the fact the his veto would have been overturned by Congress--there is an overwhelming majority on this bill to override the veto-- so he was just playing ball , so to speak.
