I didn't get it until I clicked on the link... then I just started laughing.
I think twitter has become the running joke on Slashdot. I don't know who this 'twitter' is, but for all you Anonymous Cowards to be following him around he must be quite the genius! I must read up on him and the people that reply to him most often - after all, their opinions must be nearly as correct as his, basking as they are in his warm intellectual glow.
I think that all three of these people - Odder, Twitter and westbake - are fantastic and their comments are insightful and informative. They should be modded up immediately!
My surety that they are the cleverest person in the world... sorry, the cleverest people in the world is only matched by my absolute certainty that none of them are me.
Of course, this guy is absolutely spot on, as always. I don't understand why he posts at -1, and by that I mean I can't believe how quickly he gets modded down to -1 from whatever lofty height of karma he's posting from.
Just from these short paragraphs I already know that this guy is some kind of messiah. He is here to bring you wisdom, and save you from the evils of closed source and proprietary living. Yet, despite this lofty goal, he does not consider himself above you - as shown by the fact that he doesn't speak down to you at all. Every word is kindly and assumes that you, too, are as much of a genius as he, just misguided by the evil that is Microdollaroft (otherwise known as Micro$oft or even M$, if you want to be especially witty).

I completely agree with what I just said. Did I say 'I'? I've never heard of this guy in my life, but he's clearly very insightful and informative.
Anyway, we should totally listen to him and stop modding Twitter down because I'm always right.
