There is a system being trialled in the UK at the moment, by Barclays bank. It's not the same as this system, but it does increase security massively. You're given a little chip and pin machine, and when you want to access your bank account, you put your card into the machine, enter your pin, and it gives you an access code. Having seen it in action, it's a brilliant system. Unfortunately, I'm not a Barclays customer, so I haven't used it personally, but I'm waiting quite excitedly for my bank to implement a similar system.
