"It is a sort of comedy come horror. A bit like Monty Python meets Evil Dead."
Wait, wasn't that Shaun of the Dead?
They didn't even have original ideas, let alone an original game.
On another note, I am thinking of writing a movie series. First movie has a tough cop who must maneuver through an office building to go after terrorists who are trying to steal money. I am thinking of calling it "Fatal Roughness", to reflect the tone of scenes like one with broken glass and the hero has no shoes. I haven't yet come up with any complete ideas for the other ones, but I am pretty sure that I can just re-apply the same theme in different genre's.
Like, "Fatal Roughness" at an airport, and "Fatal Roughness" across a whole city. I think it will be a landmark film series. Anyone want to produce?
When he falls past floor 10, he thinks "This isn't bad at all. I don't know what the fuss is about."
Just because things haven't hit yet doesn't men they aren't heading that way. Manipulative governments build momentum with smaller, seemingly innocuous laws that allow them to smack you all at once.
A parallel is the whole boiling a frog. If you throw them directly into hot water they freak and try to escape, where if you put them in room temperature water and slowly raise the heat, they will stay until they are burned.
What is to prevent them from incorporating kevlar into the weave? Since kevlar is a fiber, I assume that one could easily weave enough kevlar into the fabric to make stronger, without adding significant weight or limiting the flexibility of the fabric.
Also, with proximity alarms people being in your car with the alarm on will set it off all the same.
Great, so what are your suggestions for when congress or the supreme court violates the constitution? What about when a state law defies a federal law? Or vice versa?
This whole debacle is an attempt for the left wing to try and wash it's hands of any decisions it made during this administration. They want to say "we had nothing to do with him, we got him impeached."
I am sorry but if you are going to pin Bush to the wall, and claim it is to "uphold the law", you need to go after the other branches of the government as well, and at all levels.
Otherwise this is just left wing political posturing before an election and nothing more.
I am a fan of customization and choices. When you pick a class in WoW, you get at most 3 choices on how you want to play that class. There are slight variations on the 3 main types, but pretty much you will get pigeon holed into one of the roles.
That's why I have enjoyed games of the hack-and-slash style a lot more, ALA Diablo series and most recently Titan Quest (I love TQ). You get to pick a play style from caster, melee, or hybrid, because that's as specific as you can get while still being able to talk about all the classes. There are just that many ways to go about the general play styles that you feel a very strong amount of control with regard to how your character plays.
What WoW lacked for me was the freedom to feel like I actually had a choice in how I am playing. Your base stats mean nothing and the whole game is a matter of learning your role and playing it better than someone else.
I agree 100%. I am a bit taller than you and drove a 95 accord, now am driving a 98 Jetta. The interior is taller than the Honda, even though my knees do come up to the 8 and 4-o'clock positions on the steering wheel.
I would argue that European cars are built taller on the inside because Europeans are on average taller than Americans.
Sure I have some weird electrical stuff every now and then but I get pretty good mpg outta my VR6.
Theres a law in Washington where it is illegal to talk on a cellphone unless it is handsfree.
I have seen 3 police officers talking on cellphones since enactment of that law. Trying to get people to be held responsible for their actions these days is a joke.
