  1. SO WHAT ?!?!?!?! on 'Echelon Study' Released by European Parliament · · Score: 1

Look, people, who cares if NSA is reading your stupid email? Do they care? Are they gonna do anything about it? I mean, seriously, they can read everything I have, it doesn't matter to them. Nobody ever takes the other viewpoint, that they are actually doing this to PROTECT US. They our not our enemies, they are trying to PROTECT us! They are on YOUR SIDE and they don't CARE about your email. It's not like they are stealing your credit card info or spamming you!

which has nothing to do with useage. most people I know
DOWNLOAD linux, and that doesn't count in their silly survey. also, lots of people buy one copy of linux and install it on a bunch of their machines, so linux SALES makes it look like a lot fewer people are using it that actually ARE using it.

moderate this up! it is important to realize this!

Today's high schoolers are different (better) than past generations about that 'geek' thing. I am VERY popular at my high school, I have no trouble picking up women, my teachers love me (because I fix their computers) and I have lots of friend. I ALSO spend at LEAST 4 hours a day on school nights on one of my my linux boxes I built myself. I spend a lot of time writing code, learning new code, and doing geeky stuff. People in high school now don't think computer obesession is bad (just ask any of the incredibly hot and intelligent women I have gone out with).
