This reminds me of one of my colleagues. He's a top notch programmer & code librarian at our company. However , he has no computer at home. The place he calls home is a little farm on the country side. And I was wondering when cable modems will be available in my town... The bottom line is that it's simply our own fault... Anyway , those were my 2 cents:-)

Ummm... "El Cheapo" mobo running on a Via Appolo Pro 133A chipset & a PIII 667 Mhz Coppermine plugged into it. Runs at 133Mhz FSB. Rock solid.
You forgot to mention "12 monkeys" ...
hmmm ... doesn't sound bad at all ... If we get a nuke on our heads , I can stop worrying about the servers here :-)
